SWUHRA stands at the forefront of protecting fundamental freedoms and empowering marginalized communities.
SWUHRA serves as a collective voice for vulnerable communities, victims of abuse, marginalized populations, internally displaced persons, women, children, youth, and all citizens whose rights and freedoms are threatened.
Established in 2016, SWUHRA brings together human rights defenders, civil society organizations, community leaders, peace advocates, and humanitarian actors committed to advancing human dignity, justice, and democratic governance.
With a strong grassroots presence across all divisions of the South West Region, we work closely with communities to document human rights violations, promote peaceful conflict resolution, provide legal and humanitarian support, and advocate for lasting policy reforms that protect the rights of every individual.
Here's a few programs SWUHRA has design towards achieving its vision
We believe lasting peace and justice are achieved through collaboration
